How to use this calculator
- Enter item price and shipping collected from the buyer.
- Use your actual category fee, fixed order charge and promotion percentage.
- Review the result before and after changing your item price.
Calculation method
Revenue = item price + shipping charged. Profit = revenue − product cost − shipping paid − fixed order fee − revenue × (selling fee % + advertising %).
Worked example
An $80 item with $7 shipping collected, $35 product cost, $8 postage, a 13.25% example fee and $0.40 fixed fee leaves $32.0725 profit before any additional costs.
What to check before using the result
The calculator uses one shared revenue base for percentage fees. Actual fee bases may include taxes or other charges. Returns, subscriptions, insertion fees and cross-border costs need separate consideration.
