How the tool works
AI segmentation estimates foreground and background. The fast fallback uses a simpler border-connected background-color method and can produce different results.

Use a clear product photo with separation from the background. Try AI, inspect handles and thin edges, and use the fast fallback when model loading fails and the backdrop is nearly uniform.
What to check before using the result
The AI path accepts files up to 10 MB and resizes the working image to a maximum side of 1400 px. Third-party model downloads, device memory and timeouts can prevent completion.
Frequently asked questions
Is the fallback also AI?
No. The fast fallback removes a nearly uniform border-connected background. It does not perform subject-aware AI segmentation.
Will output preserve the full original resolution?
Not necessarily. The AI working image is scaled to at most 1400 px on its longest side before processing.
