Image Upscaler (Browser Resize)

Enlarge an image 2× or 4× using browser interpolation; not AI detail reconstruction.

Your image stays on your device: processing happens locally in the browser, with no upload to our servers. For large files, processing can use significant memory. Save the output using the Download button.

This is a free interpolation-based enlargement tool, not a neural-network AI upscaler. It increases pixel dimensions but cannot recover missing details.

How to use this tool

  1. Select a photo supported by your browser.
  2. Choose 2× or 4× and run the enlargement.
  3. Download the PNG and inspect the image at its intended display size.

How the tool works

Output width and height are multiplied by the selected scale. A 2× enlargement makes four times as many pixels; 4× makes sixteen times as many.

Worked example

A 600 × 400 picture becomes 1200 × 800 at 2×, or 2400 × 1600 at 4×. The result has more pixels but does not recover missing detail from the original.

What to check before using the result

This tool uses browser interpolation, not AI detail reconstruction. Input files are limited to 30 MB; output is limited to 32 million pixels. Large upscales may exceed phone memory.

Frequently asked questions

Will it make a blurry photo sharp?

It can enlarge the picture, but interpolation cannot restore the original detail lost through blur or compression.

Why is 4× failing for a large source?

A 4× enlargement requires sixteen times the source pixel count and may exceed the output limit. Try 2× or a smaller source.
